6/25 to 29 - 7 pm - Sorry I will be out of town this weekend and not able to see LCC's FOOLS, the first performance of LCC's "Summer Stage Under the Stars" June 25 to 29, at SEVEN pm, in the amphitheater behind Dart Auditorium. I have seen pix of Jeff Boerger's storybook set on Facebook. The Neil Simon script follows the humorous plight of a young man who lands his first teaching job in a town under a 200-year curse that inflicts all of its residents with “chronic stupidity.” The teacher has 24 hours to break the curse before he also becomes stupid. Mary Matzke, the director of Fools, described it as “a feel good, laugh out loud comedy with an underlying important message.”
