Director Deb Keller is known for her flair for the unusual and dramatic, and her aerial silks, and her combat choreography — and this is an excellent example of all. Be sure to read her interesting
director’s note in the program offering insights into this unusual theatrical event. It’s short — only an hour — and guaranteed to wake you up with music/lights/effects and surprises. What does this surreal battle of one-upmanship say about how men/people/nations operate, and who “wins”? Let that be your discussion topic on the ride home.
Never Swim Alone continues next weekend, Friday and Saturday only, 8 pm at LCC’s Black Box Stage.
