Starlight Dinner Theatre returns to their original performance venue, Waverly East Intermediate School, after a long 4-year break from their regular performance venue since Covid hit, with the musical farce Sherlock Holmes and the Great Royal Goose Chase! by Peter Scham and Brad Carroll. The show transports audiences “across the pond” for a one-of-a-kind, interactive theatrical experience! The world-famous sleuth, Sherlock Holmes (played by Edward Heldt), and his trusted mate, Dr. Watson (Paul Levandowski), are on the case of a stolen golden treasure from Buckingham Palace! There may be a clue hidden anywhere, and some audience volunteers* may hold the answers that will unravel them!
Featuring a mysterious songstress (Jacqueline Lutz), a murdered duke (Mike Stewart), a world-famous chocolatier (Matt Lorenz), a clumsy Inspector Lestrade (Michael Hays), British Bobbies (Mike Stewart, Ellen Hoard and Ruth Neumann Howard), Holmes's Baker Street Irregulars (Laura Johnson and Ruth Neumann Howard), Queen Victoria and Sherlock’s Housekeeper (Cheryl Sheridan), Lady Mortimer (Caitlin Christenson), Cruise Ship Captain (Dan Templin), and dancing girls with an all-new original score.
Sherlock is directed by Mike Stewart with Musical Direction by Ellen Hoard. Caitlin Christenson is the choreographer and Grace Williquette Peters the show Accompanist.
