I am in need of a HUGE favor! I need a female (20's to 30's) for a film I am filming today at 3pm at Zoobies. This person would also need to be available tomorrow. It is for a the 5/5 contest and the role that needs to be filled is Helen. Everyone I have asked has dropped out at the last minute. So, this is a last minute plead.
My phone number is (517) 505-6856 Thank you, Heidi Mender <[email protected]> oops.. I meant to send the following sooner -- sorry. Hope some of you can help Yassaman out on this project:
From: Yassaman Hajivalizadeh <[email protected]> I am a third year law student at MSU, and in order to raise money for the House of Promise (which houses victims of human trafficking) I am putting on a dance and theatrical show in March called CRIES FOR FREEDOM A Depiction of Modern Day Slavery in the U.S. Luckily, I have enough dancers, I am only short on actors. A few of my actors have dropped out last minute and I am desperate to replace them. I was informed that you may be able to help me find actors, I appreciate any help you can provide. All the dancers and actors are volunteering their time, the show will be raising funds for the House of Promise. I would like the actors to be at least 18 years old. The following is the list and description of the roles: 5 Police Officers: Male or Female, age 18 plus. There will be two scenes, with none to very minimal speaking. The Scenes will consist of the officers walking on the stage and arresting people. 4 Jons. Male, age 21 plus. Very minor speaking parts ( a sentence or two). 1 Prosecutor. Female, age 25 plus. She will have two scenes with speaking parts. Here is the rehearsal schedule, I understand that the actors may not be able to attend these times and I am willing to work around their schedule. Currently, the rehearsals are being held at MSU College of Law, however, as the date of the event gets closer, rehearsals will be held at one of the dance studios on campus. Actors ONLY Sunday Feb 16 @ 1:30-3:30pm viewing of all the completed scenes Monday Feb 24 @ 5:45-7:15pm viewing of all the scenes in the show ALL CAST Thursday February 27 @ 8-10pm full run through Tuesday March 11 @ 6:30-9 full run through Tuesday March 18 @ 6:30-9pm dress rehearsal *Friday March 21 @ 4pm dress rehearsal @ Wharton Centre Saturday March 22 meet at 12 pm for rehearsal in dance studio then break for brief lunch then set up at Wharton at 3pm and show starts at 7:30pm *Actors playing the role of jons ONLY have to attend the dress rehearsal on March 21.
