Being Held February 28
Peppermint Creek is hosting open auditions on February 28, 2023 for it's June production of the play "White", by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright James Ijames.
Play synopsis: Gus is rejected by the gallery of his dreams because he is not the “New Perspective” they’re looking for. Hoping to Trojan horse his way into notoriety he approaches Vanessa, a black actress, to pose as the creator of his paintings. As they scheme to give the gallery exactly what they want, Vanessa begins to realize this might just be the role she was born to play. This play explores issues of race, gender, sexuality, and art.
