2/25-26 - AUDITIONS for the Owosso Community Players spring production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME will take place February 25 and 26 at 6:30 p.m. with 6 p.m. sign-in at the Lebowsky Theater in Owosso. The production opens on April 26 for two weekends.
Winner of five Tony Awards in 2015, this compelling sensory drama is based on the award-winning book of the same name. When 15-year-old Christopher is wrongfully accused of murdering his neighbor’s dog, he sets off to solve the mystery and prove his innocence. Equipped with an extraordinary brain, but hampered by a strong distrust of strangers and a personal struggle to interpret everyday life, this adventure turns his life upside-down – while giving the audience an intimate look at the world through his eyes.
Director Anna Owens seeks a male who can play age 15 for the role of Christopher. Additional characters needed include males and females ages 20-60. Those auditioning are asked to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to read scenes from the play.
