3/10 - Auditions for Ixion Ensemble original short play collection Fears & Phobias
When: March 10th Noon-2 pm
Where: Capital Area District Library 401 S. Capitol Lansing, MI ( Auditions will be held in the basement auditorium.)

We are pleased to announce auditions for the final production of our 2017-2018 season, Fears & Phobias, which features all original short plays.
There are roles available for men and women of all ages.
The show will be directed by Heath Sartorius and Nick Lemmer.
Scripts included are:
Legs by Kathleen Barber--Two people struggle to find their identities as they adjust to prosthetic limbs.
Code by Andrea Clardy-- The time is 2035, when offices and residences everywhere in the United States have been fitted with recording microphones. Through surveillance programs that code “illegal or immoral content,” all conversations are monitored by the government. This is the department in which the surveillance programs are written and revised.
Killing Trudy by Rich Espey--A couple struggles to help the husband escape anxiety he has lived with all of his life. Anxiety that happens to be manifest as Trudy. Will he ever enjoy a moment or always find the dangers?
Donald Trump Is a Racist, Xenophobic, Sexist, Ignorant, Tiny-Handed, Tangerine-Faced Narcissist Who Has No Business Being President and Should Be Impeached by Jack Karp--Two agents have summoned an audience to a theatre to identify the traitors. Slowly they select and debate the guilt of suspects.
October by Greg Lam--What superstitions do you observe as your team is on its way to winning the pennant?
Family Planning by John Minigan--A mother and daughter try to process the 2016 election.
Bunker Bound by Chris Shaw Swanson--A mother tries to convince her daughter that the end really is near and that she should stay in the bunker the family built.
