Peppermint Creek is looking to fill out their cast for “The Wild Party.”
This darkly brilliant musical by Andrew Lippa is based on Mancure March’s 1928 narrative poem and features Queen and Burr’s “party to end all parties” complete with decadence, jealousy and rage - a steamy prohibition tale directed by Ben Cassidy with music by John Dale Smith, choreography Karyn Perry.
They are currently seeking men to play the juicy role of Burrs as well as two featured ensemble characters. The show starts rehearsals on September 24, 2018 and runs from Nov 29 - Dec 9.
Burrs (30 to 40) - Handsome. A professional clown. Dangerous and charming all at once. Sexually ravenous and drawn to Queenie like a moth to the flame. Hurts somewhere deep inside, and slowly descends into jealous insanity.
Sam (30 to 40) - Busy producer and “attention whore.” Trying to avoid the outrageous pitches made by Dolores
Max (20 to 40) - One of the party goers and a member of the usual “gang.” He is full of life and energy
