Director Kelly says, “What’s great about this newest revival, and the virtual options MTI is presenting, is they also allow companies to include community stories about their own “working” experience. ...This new venture allows us to bring in more community members as storytellers into our theatrical family.”
The cast calls for 3M 3F, but Kelly will expand upon this as needed. She’ll rehearse and “shoot” the entire project virtually.

Due March 12
Rehearsals Mid March - May
We are truly looking for actors of diverse backgrounds, including all ethnicities, ages (can play 18 and older), genders, and theatre acting and voice “types,” that are willing to portray masons, fast-food workers, housewives, truck drivers, call center reps, sex workers and more.
We’re asking everyone interested to prepare your best 1-2 minutes of singing that shows your vocal range and ability to portray a character, as well as a reading of one of the provided sides.
This production will be rehearsed virtually (beginning in Mid-March and working through May), and individual scenes will be recorded and edited to produce a full show.
