All the technical aspects enhance the experience. Matt Ottinger's extensive music and sound fuel the pace and mood; he's even patched together a real Hitchcock speech at the beginning. Tim Fox's lighting is another complex work of art and the "fog" is well managed; the set/furniture/props/wigs/mustaches have that 30's look (Jane Falion, Larry Savoie, Roger Nowland; Daniel Moore); the costumes, too, evoke the era (Jane Falion, Marge Hetherington, Michelle Booher-Purosky.)
So any of you who missed this fun show last summer at Over the Ledge (extra purple heart to that cast, who raced through this crazy show in un-airconditioned heat) have no excuse to miss Riverwalk's excellent (and temperature-controlled) version of this hilarious script, adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan from the movie by Alfred Hitchcock.
Continues through March 24 - 7pm Bargain Thursdays ($10/$8); 8pm Fri/Sat; 2 pm Sun ($14/$12)
