We are still looking for African-American actors to cast in the show, including such important roles as Tom Robinson (who is on trial in the Jim Crow South setting during the 1930s), and Calpurnia (a family housekeeper performing in many scenes with the lead characters).
Those who are interested should please contact Mike Sobocinski as soon as possible by email, at firstname.lastname@example.org , including a resume and/or photo if you have one. Male or female African-American actors of ages 18 to 65 are encouraged to apply. The rehearsals and performances are taking place in the City of Charlotte, with performance dates scheduled for June 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 14. If there are dates when you are unavailable for rehearsal, please include a list of those in your email.
The planned rehearsal schedule is a moderate one, no more than 3 times per week during the evenings. Performances will take place in the historic Eaton County Courthouse in downtown Charlotte.
