Broke-ology is about the King family who have weathered the hardships of life and survived with their love for each other intact. The father lives in the house the boys grew up in. He's alone, but he maintains his allegiance with their mother in his own way. When the brothers are called home to take care of him, they find themselves strangely at odds.
This show will be directed by Ixion Artistic Director, jeff croff and star Rico Bruce Wade as the patriarch of the King family.
Sonia--20s-30s; African American female; The love of William's life; We first meet her and William as a young expectant couple in the 80s; She returns as her "ghost" as Ennis reminisces.
Ennis-- 20s-30s; African American male; The oldest of the King children; He stayed in the neighborhood
Malcolm--20s-30s; African American male; The youngest of the King children; He went to college and is pursuing graduate work

10/10 - Mid Michigan Family Theatre invites all ages to audition & crew for The Bullies Christmas Carol
(A theatre for Meridian Township, Ingham County and the surrounding Area)

Imagine combining the fun of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever with the traditional Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and you will have a delightful play to show the audience.
Announcing auditions and crew call for The Bullies’ Christmas Carol for all ages 8 through adult. Families are encourages to audition together.
We are looking for cast and crew members for the show. We will meet on Tuesday, October 10 starting at 6:30 at our theatre space. Young people not wanting to act are encouraged to apply for one of the many backstage positions such as costuming, set painting, ushering, and more. Please come to this meeting.

About the Play
The Bullies' Christmas Carol
Terrible twins Ebbie and Neezer bully their classmates, steal toys from homeless children, and do everything they can to ruin the school's annual All-Inclusive, Non-Specific Holiday Celebration. But when three goofy ghosts show the siblings the past, present, and future consequences of their awful deeds, they take another look at their choices. Will the badly behaved duo change their ways in time to save the big show--and themselves? A twist on a classic holiday tale sure to delight naughty and nice kids alike.

Christmas Eve party, Clara’s godfather presents her with an amazing Nutcracker in the form of a wooden soldier. In the night, he comes alive to tell her he is a prince under the wicked enchantment of the Mouse King, and the two set o to regain his throne. When she wakes, the Nutcracker is gone. Was it all a dream? Music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. *family production (all ages audition)
