The second show of Ixion’s  season is fast approaching and auditions are just on the horizon

(Jane Note: this was a HUGE hit in some past Renegade Theatre Festival - don’t remember the year. So excited to see this one produced “for real” whatever that IS…)

"Playing for Real" directed by Steve Lee and produced by Heath Sartorius will be auditioning February 4 at 3 PM. Auditions will be held at Sycamore Creek Church 1919 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in Lansing.

BERNIE/“PETER”: An actor.
DANNY/“JERRY”: Another actor.
JOAN/“MARTHA”: An actress.
DEBORAH/“HONEY”: Another actress.
NICOLE MICHAELS: The director.
MISSISSIPPI WELLS: The playwright.

INTRUDER: An intruder.
REAL PRODUCER: The real producer.

A small community theatre tries to impress a producer to save their theatre, who isn't impressed with their abstract and meta production about a Shakespeare company's production of Romeo and Juliet. They disagree on the meaning of "real" in theatre, while police sirens and helicopters grow in the background, and a hostage situation leaving us all wondering exactly what is real?

"Acts of Love 2.0: A Night of One-Acts... of Love" 

Audio Air Force will be performing "Acts of Love..." on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7pm at the Hannah Community Center; 819 Abbot in East Lansing.  -It’s an evening of audio theater featuring original scripts written by local playwrights. 

This is the second year that members of Audio Air Force have written original scripts to be produced at the annual show in February. There are 4 one act plays dealing with love: love at first sight, jealousy, commitment, and much more. 

Auditions will be Mon. Jan. 29 and Tues. Jan. 30 beginning at 7pm at the Edgewood Community Church; 469 Hagadorn Rd, East Lansing. Rehearsals will be at the same location.

Riverwalk’s Amadeus Remaining Roles Cast tomorrow and Monday!

Auditions for the balance of the cast (The Principles were cast in August), will be held on Sunday and Mon, Jan 7&8 at 7pm at Riverwalk theatre.
