Out of grief after the 2011 drowning of his 8-year-old daughter, the idea of celebrating life and giving came about. What better way to remember a smiling, little cowgirl than with an event filled with laughter, music and joy? “Tori Saves Christmas” will be a 24-hour event filled with fun, laughter and a bit of silliness. It features comedy, music, art and film.
Proceeds from the event will celebrate Tori’s special kindness and spirit of giving by providing Christmas gifts to needy children in our community. The event will begin December 5, 2014 at 9 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. on December 6th. It will be hosted by The Avenue Cafe located at 2021 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI. All net proceeds from this event will go directly to answer the wish lists of children being served by Child & Family Charities, a local charitable organization that provides services to disadvantaged children.
Would you or someone you know be interested in performing, story telling or otherwise participating in this 24 hour play date on December 5 or 6? A minimum time slot is a half hour; times are available between 7 p.m. on December 5 to 7 p.m. on December 6.
