Audition Dates: Sun & Mon, May 10 &11 at 6:30 pm.
Production Dates: July 17-19 & 24-26, 2015
We will be holding auditions for our free, children's workshop program which will be producing "Alice in Wonderland", directed by SaDonna Croff. The auditions are this Sunday & Monday, May 10&11 at 6:30pm. The following note is from SaDonna:
"I do not plan to make the script available before the auditions, because I prefer actors to read "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" to truly understand the characters and story to prepare for the audition. Our script is directly written from the dialogue in the book. I will not be focusing a lot on reading for auditions. I will be looking more at movement, volume, clarity of speech, and taking stage direction.
You may also want to read some online analysis of the book as well as checking into the history of the late 1800's traveling carnivals in Europe.
Doing this will prepare you far better for the auditions. :-) "
The cast info is attached. We are looking for children ages 10-18 to sign up for this FREE workshop via auditions, and all interested who are not cast can participate on backstage crews
Come on out and join in the fun!
