About TTE: Transforming Theatre Ensemble is housed in the Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives. We use theatre to initiate dialogues about bias, privilege, and oppression. TTE performs various interactive sketches that depict campus life, so we are looking for a diverse group of actors to fill roles ranging from students to faculty to staff. This is a paid acting job, though we welcome folks with little to no acting experience. The time commitment varies depending on the number of performance requests and your availability. We are flexible in terms of scheduling and work around classes, work, and any other commitments. All are encouraged to audition, though we are particularly looking to add seasoned/mature actors to the ensemble who can play faculty.

What to be prepared for: This will be a very laid-back, low-stress audition in which you do a "cold reading" from a script that we’ll provide for you. We’ll also do a brief interview so we can get to know you. Please avoid wearing perfume, cologne, essential oils, or other scented products to accommodate those with allergies and chemical sensitivities.
