9/22-23 - The Blue Light Players will be holding auditions for their adult cast production of All Shook Up, The Musical September 22nd and September 23rd. All Shook Up tells the story of a small town girl (with big dreams), from somewhere in the middle of a square state…in the middle of a square decade…and the motorcycle-riding stud she falls for. Based upon the music of Elvis, this musical is full of show stopping production numbers and a plot of twisted love stories. It is a "feel good" musical which incorporates cast members of all ages.
We are seeking a diverse cast ranging in age from 16-80+. Due to our unique “once a week” rehearsal schedule we hope to attract cast members who may want to return to performing in community theater productions, but don’t necessarily have the time to commit to a 4-5 night per week rehearsal schedule. This rehearsal format also allows for cast members to participate in more than one production at the same time, by coordinating the rehearsal schedules. If you can sing, dance, or act, please come out for the auditions. This may be your opportunity to step back into the world of community theater or continue your "career" in community theater! We welcome both stage newcomers and stage veterans at the auditions.
