Hello, my name is Jordan Courter and I am interested in recruiting actors and actresses aged 18-25 for a comedy TV show that me and a friend of mine have written. I was wondering if you could inform your actors and actresses in your program that this is an opportunity for them to engage in a serious and fun project for us. We will be doing interviews near the end of March and having auditions at the start of April. Our group is looking for actors and actresses for a comedy TV show. This is a SERIOUS project that will be exposed to the public (we will try to get picked up by a broadcast company) and would be a great opportunity for any aspiring actor/actress. This is an unpaid project. Meals and coffee will be provided on shooting days.
Here are some general things we are looking for:
• Sarcastic, funny and creative people that can act in a comedy situation and present ideas.
• Must have a flexible schedule for Spring/Summer and live in Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos or surrounding areas.
• Be a fun person that can get along with others; you will be working closely with the director, the crew and other actors.
• Be professional and punctual; while this project will be fun for everyone, we want to stay professional and work in a timely manner.
• Be able to accept constructive criticism and notes by the director and crew.
• Able to travel some distance to alternate shooting locations (if needed).
We will have a round of interviews first and then we will have auditions afterward. Expect the interviews to begin at the end of March or start of April.
