...ASAP! - They are in a pinch for the ADDYs (Local ADDY Awards are the first of a three-tiered national competition for advertising and marketing.) This year's ADDY event is MadMen themed, and instead of a heavily produced show as has been done in the past, the script is written for live skits throughout the presentation of awards. The girls are playing secretaries, so relatively young would be ideal. But the guys can be older; they are playing executives of a large advertising agency.
Chad Badgero from Peppermint Creek Theater is heading up the skits and is having trouble finding actors that are available. They have a first round rehearsal set for this Monday, Feb. 18th and one dress rehearsal on Wednesday, Feb 20th. The actual show is on Thursday, the 21st. Kat Cooper is also acting as the emcee. Are you interested/available in helping out? They would potentially need 3-4 guys and 3 girls.
The skits are very short and I don't think it will require a lot of practice, but we do need people that are available those three days. It's not a paid gig, but we will be sure to recognize all actors involved at the event. Not to mention it is a GREAT way to get in from of some key players in the video industry (SUCH, Harvest, Ahptic, etc.) who are always in need of actors.If you are interested, contact Chad Badgero at [email protected].
