Old Town Dickens Village is back!

It's that time of year again! You guessed it! Christmas time! (well, almost). Old Town Dickens Village is back!  For those who are not familiar, Old Town Dickens Village is a holiday festival that is put on by Old Town Commercial Association and offers horse drawn carriage rides, carolers, a short vignette of A Christmas Carol, and many family friendly activities. The date for the event is December 7th from 12pm-4pm. We are currently looking for actors to portray characters from A Christmas Carol. There are some roles that are already cast, as they are returning actors, but we need some fresh new faces for our holiday fun. We are looking for individuals who are able to interact with the public in character, remain in character for the entire event, to maintain the Dickens atmosphere, and be able to memorize a few lines for the vignette-which will be performed at the Turner Mini Park 3 times during the event. Below you will find a list and descriptions of characters that will be needed. If you do not see a specific character, then that character has already been cast. Payment is being negotiated at this time for actors. There will be a cast meeting and a couple of rehearsals before the event, date and time TBA.

Ebenezer Scrooge (Male, 50's)- A miserly, money hungry businessman

Bob Cratchit (Male, 30's)-Scrooge's clerk

Tiny Tim (Male, 8-10)-The Cratchit's lame son

Ghost of Christmas Past (Any)-  the first of the spirits foretold by Marley who shows Scrooge his past Christmases

Ghost of Christmas Future (Any)- the third spirit foretold by Marley that shows Scrooge Christmases in the Future
