Audition Opportunity for The Sound of Music
The Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts is pleased to announce auditions for its upcoming production of The Sound of Music, featuring 8 performances from February 25 through March 6.
Auditions are open for performers age 5 and up and will be held in two rounds.
The first round will include a virtual submission. Those interested in auditioning will be asked to sing a brief vocal selection, preferably classic musical theatre, to submit with a completed audition form at the button below. All submissions are due no later than Wednesday, December 22 at 5:00pm.
Select auditioners will then be invited to in-person callback auditions held December 27. Additional information regarding the time, location and further details will be sent once the first round is complete.
With safety as the top concern, all performers and production crew must adhere to the safety precautions being recommended by MDHHS and the CDC due to the ongoing pandemic and must be fully vaccinated to perform in this production. If cast, rehearsals will begin in early January.
