"“It was not an easy decision and one made by the cast and I to cancel our May show, Sherlock Holmes, due to insurmountable circumstances.”
Linda Granger

Starlight Theatre will NOT be presenting the musical
mystery farce "Sherlock Holmes and the Great Royal Goose Chase!" on May 10, 11, 17 & 18 at Delta Presbyterian Church, 6100 W. Michigan Avenue, Lansing 48917.

*NEXT SEASON:  We do not know what will be happening with Starlight next season.  We do not know when we will be allowed to return to Waverly East.  I apologize for the confusion and show changes this past year.  Once we realized we could not get back into the school, we had to substitute shows that were more suited to the staging area in the church.  We are grateful for the support of First Presbyterian Church this past season.
Linda Granger, Artistic Director

Darwin in Malibu
Play by Crispin Whittell

Malibu, California. One hundred and twenty years after his death, Charles Darwin (‘the Devil’s Chaplain’) is hanging out at a beach house overlooking the Pacific with a girl young enough to be his daughter. His peace is rudely disrupted when his old friend Thomas Huxley (‘the Devil’s Disciple’) washes up on the beach, closely followed by the Bishop of Oxford, Samuel Wilberforce. These three find themselves entangled in an enthralling and thought-provoking comedy about God and science.

“A hoot and a half…Wonderfully entertaining.” —Financial Times (London). “Fiercely intelligent…an exceptionally spry play with big ideas and a big heart. You should see it—not just because it’s there, but because we are here.” —Guardian (London)

When: Saturday, May 4 @ 7PM
