Second annual Tori Saves Christmas

9/28/2013

In memory of and tribute to departed daughter, Tori, Jeff Croff and friends and family are preparing the second annual Tori Saves Christmas event to raise money to buy presents for kids in foster care. Last year over forty kids ages 18 months to 18 years old had their holidays brightened with gifts over the holiday.

To make this year's event a success we are seeking performers willing to donate their time at some point during this twenty of our hour event. We are seeking musicians, comedians, filmmakers, dancers and actors. They are encouraged to bring a prepared performance or if they would like to be part of the improve or rehearsed pieces we can include them that way as well.

The event will run from 9pm on December 6 to 9pm on December 7. We are booking half hour blocks throughout. The only caveat is that all performances from 9am to 9pm on the 7th must be family friendly.

If folks are interested, they can email me, convergingminds@yahoo.com, or call , 517.775.4245.

Sincerely,
Jeff Croff

Bonnie & Clyde Fall Gala Tomorrow!

9/12/2013

Hi Jane,
Could you please post a reminder to all the theater lovers out there that Peppermint Creek's fall fundraiser "The Bonnie and Clyde Gala"  is Friday September 13th from 7-10 pm at Peppermint Creek Theatre, 6025 Curry Lane (directly off Miller Rd), Lansing.  Tickets can be purchased on-line at peppermintcreek.org or 517-927-3076.  $60 for one or $100 for two.

In addition to food, wine and a silent auction, there will be a gorgeous 1933 Ford V8, just like the one Bonnie and Clyde were gunned down in, and a photographer to capture each attendee's 1930's moment .  One can come in his best 30's era finery or choose from our cache of boas, long strand of pearls, cigarette holders, Fedoras, mustaches and the like for some terrific photo-ops.

The MSU Swing Dance Club will be there to teach us how to "Swing".  Those of us more timid souls can sit in the theatre and cheer on our more adventurous friends.  The evening will be capped off by a the cast of "Bonnie and Clyde, the musical" as they give us a taste of the PCTC season opener.

Don't miss this fun evening to support one of Lansing's favorite theaters.

Thanks,
Joan Mattson for the PCTC Board

This is TOMORROW, your lucky day, Friday the 13th! - It's not too late to get in on this FUN EVENT. (Chad says you do not really need a password to get into this speakeasy.) Phone, or buy tickets online and just print out your paypal receipt to use as a "ticket" - See you there!  Jane & Mark
