11/20-22 - I was wondering if you could pass on the following message about Leslie High School's production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. As an alum from Leslie High School I know that this show will be an absolute delight. It's a show you won't want to miss and it will be sure to entertain! Directed by the wonderful, Nancy Lewis, in her third year as director taking over from Assistant Director, following the work of Rebecca Scofield.

In the late 1800’s in Oregon, Adam (Played by Senior Josiah Bigg) goes into town 12 miles from his house and gets himself a bride (Played by Junior Emma Wilkinson) in about a 5 minute courtship. Returning with his new wife, his 6 brothers decide they want a wife also….but they kidnap their girl. The musical proceeds in the story of learning about life, love, and sacrifice. Some songs you might know from the show are Goin’ Courtin’ and Sobbin Women.
The musical will open on Friday, Nov. 20th at 7PM, Saturday, Nov. 21st 7PM, and Sunday, Nov. 22nd at 3PM. Tickets can be purchased by leaving a message at 517 525-0917 or email [email protected]. Tickets will also be sold at the door. All seats are $10.
