Presenting The Snow Queen and the Goblin and The Emperor's New Clothes
The Snow Queen and the Goblin, takes place in the chilly area between our normal world and the mystic realm of the Snow Queen. Children have sometimes been seen to disappear from the village, after the mysterious Goblin makes has been seen. The Goblin is able to travel between two worlds, and take others with him. But although the Goblin describes the wonders of the Snow world and the Queen he serves, magical forces have long been changing the Snow realm into a place of darkness and despair.
The original story had inspired the recent film. Frozen, but MMFT proudly presents a more traditional and dramatic adaptation for the stage.
The Emperor’s New Clothes is an entertaining, comic tale. This whimsical retelling of the classic story includes a moral that is well worth recounting: Do the opinions of the wise and learned always hold up to scrutiny? Or can people sometimes become fooled by their own cleverness?
