Thirteen actors have spent four weeks workshopping writing for the stage in the form of monologues, dialogues, fugues, and other experimental forms, to shape an evening of theater that reveals the lives of high school students. Director Mark Shaheen says, “This may be the most exciting, provocative, demanding, and educationally deep show East Lansing Theater has produced. Students are creating an evening in the theater from the ground up, and what’s more, the voices are real, honest, and speak to the nature of growing up in 2015.”
TBD: An Original Theatrical Experience, opens at the East Lansing High School Center for Performing Arts (509 Burcham Dr, East Lansing, MI 48823) on Thursday, November 19 at 7pm, running Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm, closing Sunday, November 22 with a matinee at 2pm. Tickets are $5, general admission, and can be purchased at the door 45 minutes before curtain.
