Last year's Valentine weekend Starlight performed a musical revue of songs from the 30's, 40's and 50's. It was such a success that she and multi-talented performer, Dan Templin, teamed up to produce another Valentine's musical revue "Happy Days - Malt Shop Memories from the 1950's" "We have come to really know our audience and know they would thoroughly enjoy this show" stated co-producer Linda Granger. "We thought it would be a fun way to celebrate Valentine's Day for many who wouldn't otherwise be celebrating it - with a trip down memory lane - of days gone by, happier times and wonderful memories complete with 1950's style ice cream sundaes.”
We have our own Fonzie, Elvis, Bobby Darin, Patti Page, Debbie Reynolds and "Ol Blue Eyes" Frank Sinatra performing "My Funny Valentine", "Old Cape Cod", "Mac the Knift", "Hey Good Lookin", "All Shook Up" and MANY more!
We are partnering with the Capital Area Humane Society and will have dogs available for adoption on stage for the number "How Much is That Doggie in the Window?"
The "surprise ending" will be repeated again this year, with the men in the cast taking audience members out on the dance floor, complete with disco ball!
This is a DESSERT ONLY Starlight show featuring ice cream sundaes.
