A fundraiser for the Williamston Theatre
Sunday, July 28 at 7pm
$15 per ticket
Directed by Tony Caselli
This staged reading of the classic love story will feature two of the Theatre’s co-founders, John Lepard and Emily Sutton-Smith. The piece is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people, sometime lovers, who grow up together, go their separate ways, and continue to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny, but always telling, pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down. Mr. Lepard and Ms. Sutton-Smith are married and have a young son together. This is the first time they will be on stage together since 2004. Tickets go on sale July 2.
