The Prime Time program at Hannah Community Center is offering (in collaboration with the Friends of Theatre and Theatre Department at MSU) a not to be missed opportunity. Join the "Scripts Class at Prime Time" as it explores a Kabuki style production of the Greek play, The Bacchae, before it opens on April 12 at the Passant Theatre at the Wharton Center.
There are spaces available to join this class which is actually a package of 2 classes and a ticket to The Bacchae.
Hurry because the first class in this package will meet this Thursday (April 11) from 3 to 5pm. We are excited to have guest Director David Fujumoto from the University of Wisconsin explain why he chose to do this Greek drama in the style of traditional Japanese Kabuki theater complete with elaborate costuming.
The Scripts class package includes a ticket to the production at MSU on the day and time of your choosing and a second class on April 25th from 3 to 5pm at Prime Time where we will have the opportunity to meet with students and faculty involved in the production.
This is small group setting with limited seating (no more than 20 spaces) designed to encourage dialog.
