Last night’s board meeting gave me the update that the RIF fundraiser $20 Friday performance of Bud, Not Buddy reshow reception will start at 6pm - see you there! (Jane)
We're very excited that noted author of "Bud, Not Buddy", Christopher Paul Curtis, will be joining us for this special event on Friday April 20th. Mr. Curtis, who has written several award winning books including "Bud, Not Buddy" and "The Watsons Go to Birmingham", will attend a reception prior to the April 20 performance of "Bud, Not Buddy". Reception begins at 6pm, performance at 8. This special fundraising performance benefits Lansing Reading is Fundamental (RIF), a leading voice for children’s literacy. An audience talk-back with Mr. Curtis will follow the performance.
Tickets for this particular fundraising performance are $20.
