This is Chad's Acting Up Theatre Company's 15th annual Summer Reading Program Tour: "The Terrible Misgivings of Dr. Frankenmuth." It's high energy, interactive, and gets kids excited about reading and libraries, while making them laugh at the "Evil" Dr. Frankenmuth and his plot to destroy libraries - in revenge for not having been taken to the library as a child. Keenan Kangas is Chad's trusty sidekick, playing various roles, including a zombie guinea pig.
The show is just rude enough to keep kids engaged and laughing - (a few good burp and booty jokes) and a great "workshop" for actors to see the energetic, animated performances that keep kids' attention. The entire performance is about 35 to 40 minutes.
Great Fun - and FREE at these libraries near us!
