Doak Bloss invites Defend audiences to discuss, eat chili:
Theatre-going community! If you saw "How to Defend Yourself" at Peppermint Creek Theatre Company last week or this week.... please consider attending "Afterthoughts".
This will be an opportunity to talk about this complex, important play with other audience members at 6:30 pm Sunday (tomorrow). I will be facilitating the dialogue as I did after "The Minutes" last fall. It should be a great opportunity to work through the play's unconventional structure and themes, and more importantly what we feel compelled to do, having watched it.
This will take place in the Sycamore Creek Church cafe (just outside where you saw the play).
Normally I like to have advance reservations for these, but this time it's okay to just show up unannounced. I will have my killer Texas chili to share, and salad for vegetarians. If you do want to let me know you're coming, my email is [email protected].
