Everett High School is looking for a Director for their production of Hairspray!
Performance Dates: Fri, Apr 26 @ 7pm, Sat, Apr 27 @7pm and Sun, Apr. 28 @2pm
Auditions: Jan 16-18, 3-5pm. Callbacks on Jan 19, 3-5pm
First Read is Jan 29, 3-5pm
Auditorium is currently booked to a rehearsal time for 3-5pm M-F, with Tuesday & Thursday being reserved for Choreography/Music rehearsals.
The right person must be willing, able, and patient to work with teenagers. We have a fantastic group of young artists here at Everett, ready to be coached to their best performance. Responsibilities would include casting, working with the creative team (co-director, choreographer, music director and pit orchestra conductor - already assembled and ready to go!), running rehearsals, coordinating efforts to get the show performed. This is a paid position.

Directors Wanted! Passion Required!
The Production committee of the Owosso Community Players (OCP) is seeking directors to bring to life an exciting 2018-2019 season. This year, for the first time, OCP will select the season’s plays based on submissions from directors. Musicals, however, will still be selected by the OCP Production Committee.
Potential directors are invited to submit a slate of no more than three non-musical play scripts they would like to direct at OCP (any additional scripts beyond the first three listed will not be considered). All directors are encouraged to submit shows for which they have a passion, as we recognize that passion for the material is crucial to the success of any play.

OCP offers a competitive stipend to its directors.
Because OCP is fortunate enough to own the Lebowsky Center, directors will have access to our facilities for rehearsals from day one; lugging props or costumes from one location to another will not be necessary.
The production committee will review the submissions and contact candidates for interviews before final decisions are reached. OCP is a great place to bring theatrical artistry alive, and we hope all of the talented directors who love theater as much we do will consider partnering with us to produce a great piece of theatre. We look forward to seeing all submissions no later than February 1, 2018.
We aim to have our season selected by March 12, 2018.
