Jeff Garrity and I have started this semi-monthly satirical review thing. We call it The Academy of Applied Absurdityand we have our first show,"The Playing Politics Revue" scheduled for Feb. 21, 22 and 23.That's a Thursday performance at 7:30, and Friday and Saturday at 8:00at The Fledge.
The Fledge is a wonderful community startup incubator type of thing, and it's housed in a former church right at that weird double curve - not an actual intersection - thing at Eureka Street and Holmes Street right near Sparrow Hospital, off Michigan Avenue.

2/27 - Next Wednesday - one show only! THEATER OF WAR PRODUCTIONS PROMETHEA IN PRISON
The hugely inventive theatre piece, Promethea in Prison, will be at Wharton Center February 27. Sonja Sohn, who played Detective Kima Greggs on The Wire, and Deirdre Lovejoy, also of The Wire and much more, will both star in this theatrical experience.
Specially-priced student and youth tickets are available. More information can be found below. I hope you can take advantage of having this incredibly unique theatre work in our area.
