Help an old Theatre Guy — and get cheap rent in return?
Tim Beam is a longtime supporter of Riverwalk and other theatres (was our source of gun props for a long time — showed up in children’s shows — and was that unfortunate patient/victim in Young Frankenstein as you can see in his Facebook profile pic https://www.facebook.com/warren.t.beam/about
He’s back home after a stay in the hospital for lung problems. He did quit smoking a few years ago, but not soon enough — and now can’t walk very far and depends on a portable motorized scooter that folds up like a suitcase and weighs 35 pounds.
SO - Tim is looking for a roommate/helper single person who would pay half the utility costs ($150-200 or so) and share grocery costs — and maybe cook a little — in return for their own room/bathroom in the Hunter’s Ridge Condo/Apartments off South Waverly Road, just north of Holmes Rd. (This is a “feline household” Tim says.)
Tim takes E-Tran when needed, but would like this roommate to be able to drive him in an emergency, or maybe grocery shopping — so this person would have to be able to carry the 35-pound scooter — which opens and closes automatically.
ALSO - Tim would be up for attending any theatre event with anyone willing to schlep the scooter. Manager Mike at Riverwalk has promised Tim a prime handicap spot next to the building.
