Former Lansing "star" & friend Jim Hoffmaster has a brief guest spot on Brooklyn Nine Nine 9:30 pm TONIGHT (Tuesday) on FOX. There's a rerun at 8:30 and Jim is in the new episode that airs at 9:30.
Hughes says, "Once a busy actor in local theatre (and Schuler Books employee in Okemos) he's been doing TV guest shots and more for seven years. That includes six episodes of "Shameless " (as Frank's bar friend Kermit), three on "Austin & Ally" as the Pirate King, and three on "True Blood" as a cart pusher."
Jim's been off in L.A. since shortly after playing a memorable "Fagin" in Riverwalk's Oliver (and to make a slight correction, the Austin & Ally role was not actually a "king" but "Pirate Frank" owner of a pirate-themed fish joint in the mall, who kept his pirate persona even outside the store.) We are proud of Jim for persevering in the LA show biz scene. As most of his Lansing friends know, he keeps an interesting blog at jim515.diaryland.com
