Ixion Theatre Ensemble
Calling all writers!
We are seeking short plays around the theme of "Dreams". Whether it's interpreting the meaning of eating a peanut butter and pickle sandwich in a tutu on the El with a clown or exploring aspirations, we want to see your stories.
Whatever dream(s) you want to explore we would like to hear that story.
We will select up to eight scripts for further development, including staged readings and possibly full production in May of 2021.
Guidelines for your Dreams submissions(s) are:
- No more than 4 actors
-Simple setting
-No more than 15 pages
-Submissions must include only first initial and last name of author in header or footer
-Multiple submissions are allowed
- No bios are to be included.
-Digital submissions only to mailto:[email protected]
-Deadline is 5 p.m September 30, 2020
Remember: Ixion Returns to the Stage with Turn Turn Turn, a collection of original, locally-written monologues. Performances will be August 21, 22 and 23 at 6 PM in Sharp Park 1401 Elmwood Road Lansing, MI. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. We hope to see LOTS of people (Live and In Person, 6-feet away, wearing masks) at this first, live, new, theatre event since Covid hit! I plan to be there opening night. (Jane)
