Last Season:
- We launched our Golden Ticket program making free tickets available to those members of our community unable to afford the costs. Every performance has a limited number of tickets available to the program. (Contact us via email to learn more.)
- We continued to formalize our efforts and moved rehearsals to Foster Community Center. This was thanks to the generosity of many friends and patrons via Facebook.
- We featured three new to Ixion directors: Oralya Garza, Leo Poroshin & Rose Jangmi Cooper. In fact, Hope was Rose's directorial debut.
- We launched Ixion's Hub membership program
- All four productions feature scripts written by women. rUSt, our new works slot, shines the spotlight on members of Ixion's Wheel Writers Group (both women and men).
- We are proud once again to offer an entirely African American cast for The Skeleton Crew. This script is written by Detroit native Dominique Morisseau.
- We are equally proud to give nine young women a chance to howl in The Wolves. Also featured will be Ixion board member and award-winning actress Sara Frank-Hepfer.
- We will delve into the pressure cooker of school bullying with Mallery Avidon's queerSpawn. This show will be directed by Todd Heywood, who is making his Ixion directorial debut, but is a familiar directing presence throughout Lansing.
