Ixion Ensemble focuses on local playwrights with a free staged reading of rUSt: Monologues from the Midwest. The reading will be February 15 from noon to 3pm in the auditorium of Capital Area District Library 401 S. Capitol Ave. Lansing, MI.

The playwrights featured will be: O.G. Ueberroth, Adam Carlson, Janet Ehrlich Colson, Sarah Murphy, Alan Harris, Joy Bilbey, Kerry Waters and jeff croff. All are members of Ixion's Wheel writers group, which meets monthly to encourage local writers to develop their works for the stage.
Performing the readings will be Michell Danaj, Paul Schmidt, Rebecca Williams, Daryl Thompson, Judith Evans, Michelle Trice and Sadonna Croff.
"These stories explore our community and experiences" notes Ixion artistic director, jeff croff. "This is the next step in the development process as we prepare for auditions and a full production in May. For many of the writers, this will be the first time we've performed their work at Ixion."
