“Based on the recommendations of the Governor and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services,Riverwalk Theatre will be temporarily cancelling performances effective immediatelyin an effort to proactively support all measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
“We are proud of the support the community provides us. However, at this time , we believe we must put the health and safety of our members, volunteers, staff and audience first. We will continue to monitor the situation and use the information and tools provided by our local, state, and health officials to make informed decisions about moving forward and our next steps. On behalf everyone at Riverwalk Theatre, thank you for your support. We are proud to be a part of this beautiful and resilient community, and we are eager to safely resume performances. In the meantime, be safe and well. ”
This means that— contrary to this morning’s email from me --there will be NO MORE Marvin Gardens performances, and NO Game Night (Charades) tomorrow. (sigh - as I said before: info coming in sporadically…. Doing my best, here; please email any other cancellations.) [email protected]
