4/22 - LCC's Opera Scenes Concert
Saturday, April 22 at 8 pm in Dart Auditorium; Join LCC students, alumni, faculty (past and present) and community members, along with LCC's Concert Choir, as they present a collection of scenes from opera and operetta. Shows include Die Fledermaus, The Marriage of Figaro, The Mikado, Cavalleria Rusticana, Hansel and Gretel, Don Giovanni, and Candide.
Directed by Kelly Stuible-Clark, Accompanied by Luidmila Bondar.
Performers include: Lydia Erickson, Ben English, Karina Juarez, Cecilia Major, Terry McGinn, Trevor McMinn, Leo Poroshin, Katy Ramos, Elaine Simon, Sarah Strom, and Rick Wendorf
This concert spans a wide variety of music- from Mozart to Leonard Bernstein- and is presented entirely in English. The program will be under an hour, so it's a great introduction to anyone who's new to opera! The concert is free, with donations accepted to go towards LCC's Music Scholarship Program.
