A total of 14 youth from Mason, Lansing, Holt, and Haslett make up the cast of this latest Downeaster production.
Several love stories meet and intertwine on a summer night in the realm of the fairies, which include mistaken identities, a donkey, and a love potion. But was it all a dream? One of William Shakespeare’s most well-loved comedies.
“I’m so proud of our hardworking youth in their quest to dissect and perform Shakespeare to the best of their abilities,” said director Kathryn Willis.
Shows will take place at 7 p.m. on Fri., July 27 and Aug. 3, 2 p.m. and 430pm on Sat., July 23 and Aug. 4, and 2 p.m. on Sun., July 29 and Aug. 5.
