My name is Emily Clark, and I am an MSU graduate and a Lansing arts and theatre regular. I wanted to reach out to you about a theatreopportunity for kidsthat I am working on:
An Afternoon of One Acts Workshop presented by OnLive Theatre.
OnLive Theatre is a partnership that I formed with two other MSU Theatre students, Taylor McPhail and Isabella Stenz, to bring theatre to children during times where our circumstances make it harder than ever to rehearse and perform. I was hoping that you could pass it along to the Greater Lansing Ubiquitous Theatre email list so that we can get more kids involved in performing and theatre throughout Michigan's stay-at-home order.
You can learn more about this workshop and about our most recent completed project, a 2-week online theatre workshop, on our website, which can be found here: https://onlivetheatre.wixsite.com/website. We have gotten great reviews from the parents and children involved, with many participants excitedly returning for this upcoming workshop. We have space for 22 more children ages 8+ across three one acts, and we are closing the application this Saturday, April 18th at 5:00pm.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you so much, and I appreciate your help! mailto:[email protected]
Sincerely,
Emily Clark
(btw, this is NOT Emily English Clark, whom many of your know from local community theatre — tho I think she’d make a great teacher, too!)
