As a part of this performance will be an original play written for audio theater called "The Relic" written by Michigan's own Will Anderson. This short feature will give those unfamiliar with how audio theater works live on stage a chance to experience a short story before the main presentation of "War of the Worlds". This original play "The Relic" is about a guitarist who is quite an icon of rock being interviewed for a blog. The interview goes badly, and the interviewer vows to get even. In the story he learns that the source for the incredible skill with which the rock icon is able to play comes from an unearthly source, but that realization comes too late.
