We enjoyed last weekend’s Renegade N.O.W. (New Original Works) plays — and, sadly, the only ONE night we were able to attend the “real” expanded Renegade Theatre festival, this weekend (continues Fri/Sat) at locations all over town.)
We ADORED the charming, short, weird, funny BOISE IDAHO, Riverwalk’s offering directed by Ann Carlson; do not miss that half-hour gem. We were honored to witness the very FIRST performance of Lansing’s newest theatre The Downeaster, doing a 45-minute excerpt from THE LARAMIE PROJECT — and were appropriately depressed by Peppermint Creek’s BUILDING THE WALL with the always excellent Dave Dunckel. Hope you all will see as many Renegade shows as you can.

I was relieved to finish my annual gathering of the seasons to complete my full year GLUT calendar in time to be copied for the Renegade Festival. I tried to upload it here, but it is not working. If you want me to email you the pdf file to print on legal sized paper (8 1/2 x 14"), email your request to [email protected]. I will still send out monthly calendars — which start from this master calendar and are sent for updates to the various theatres.
