The Downeaster Theatre will bring “Ring Around Rosalie” to its own stage, 1120 N Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing, MI 48906, June 22-July 1.

In this fast-paced farce, Benito “Benny” Bellarosa, a New York gangster, is attempting to become a “go legit” as Prohibition ends. Meanwhile, his daughter Rosalie tells him that she is pregnant, hoping he will allow her to leave the house and marry her boyfriend. Unfortunately, Rosalie’s lover disappears and Benny is left with more suitors (and daughters) than he can handle, leaving him desperate to find a suitable husband and get a ring around Rosalie! Leo Poroshin is Benny, Rikki Perez is Rosalie, and Rebecca Hager is Bella.
“This show is hysterical; a must-see! We’ve had such fun putting it together,” said director Kathryn Willis.
