Roy was a realtor who advertised for many years in our programs, and was an active Lansing Area Theatre Guy back in the day. Below is his resumé from Matt Ottinger’s wonderful archive site http://lansingtheatre.org.
Note that Roy directed the very first show produced at Riverwalk Theatre, Dames at Sea — and also, if I’m remembering correctly, he was Pontius Pilate in the infamous Jesus Christ Superstar, Okemos Barn 1984-5 season, where the lady from the audience came onstage to “save Jesus” from the 40 lashes. (If anyone has really old theatre programs from the 70s/80s, contact Matt: mailto:[email protected])
