I’m told that Roy Custer is “in his final stages” at Sparrow Hospital. Hospital visits are allowed or you may send cards for Roy via the hospital or via Bob Waite 2401 East Jolly Road Apt 3 Lansing 48910.
Roy was a realtor who advertised for many years in our programs, and was an active Lansing Area Theatre Guy back in the day. Below is his resumé from Matt Ottinger’s wonderful archive site http://lansingtheatre.org.
Note that Roy directed the very first show produced at Riverwalk Theatre, Dames at Sea — and also, if I’m remembering correctly, he was Pontius Pilate in the infamous Jesus Christ Superstar, Okemos Barn 1984-5 season, where the lady from the audience came onstage to “save Jesus” from the 40 lashes.
