Telling Lives (written by Faye Sholiton) comes to the Riverwalk Theatre Black Box on May 9-11 and 16-18. This gripping production centers on an aging woman (Eve Davidson) who pens her memoir and unwittingly opens the door to questions about her family's past. Her daughter (Amy Rickett), an editor, is doggedly looking for truth and logic; her granddaughter (Michelle Lerma), an aspiring playwright wants to mine new material for a comedy. As three generations of women review the story of one life, they reveal secrets of their own telling lives. Over the course of a weekend, the three women discover the truth about memory: it is not only imperfect; it hangs on by a thread.

This is the perfect show to bring Mom to on Mother's Day," says Director Jeff Magnuson. “This script was the winner of the Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council in 2012, and I’m delighted to be bringing this production to Riverwalk Theatre.”
