Audio Air Force Radio-Show Staged Readings will present IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE at the Hannah Center for December 16. AAF offers a great opportunity to ACT without the dreaded memorizing. The sound effects are fun, and the people are friendly. Spice up your December and AUDITION December 5 or 6.
The radio version of “It’s a Wonderful Life” was produced on network radio in 1947 to promote the movie’s re-release to theaters in smaller towns, after its initial release in large cities. The radio version featured Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, who starred in the movie.
For the show on Dec. 16, will also feature some original audio theater written by members of the Audio Air Force – including continuing the series of the Lansing Guild of High Theatre, with a holiday performance, as only they can do.
For auditions and the performance, you will be given printed scripts to use.
