5/31 -Thursday, Tim Beam sings at Lugnuts Stadium
Tim reports:
One of My Bucket List Items is to sing the National Anthem to a Large Audience at a Sporting Event. And on this Day, I have been selected to accomplish this task at Oldsmobile/Cooley Law Stadium for the Home Game for the Lansing Lug Nuts. Being a Veteran, and a Traditionist I am honored to have been selected on The Real Day, rather than the convenience day. And I hope many of You will decide to show support for Our Local Farm Major League Team.
Some of You may wonder what Theatre and Base Ball have in common? And it's that We both support Lansing. Also, I am far from being the first Riverwalk Theatre Member to have been given this honor. So Please show up of You can.
On a personal note. Even though at this time, results are coming back really good on My Battle with Cancer, I plan to attend a Board Meeting to officially resign and offer to hand the reins of "Theatre Firearms Coordinator" over to My Son, William Timothy Beam. I will still assist Him as long as I can. We still have guns for Stage for any Play Project that needs them.
